Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian, wife of the President of the Republic of Armenia, visited the ‘Armenian Park’ in Warsaw and laid flowers on the Armenian khachkar.

Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian, also visited the library of the University of Warsaw. During the meeting with the library staff, Mrs. Sarkissian proposed to take steps to replenish the Armenian department in the library, to implement an exchange program of librarians from the two countries. An agreement was reached to carry out follow-up work in order to implement further cooperation programs.

As part of her visit to Warsaw, Mrs. Nouneh Sarkissian visited one of the famous museums in Warsaw, the Royal Palace. Mrs. Sarkissian was presented with the history of the museum, toured the halls, got acquainted with the exhibition of Armenian carpets, which are part of the museum’s permanent exhibition.

Mrs. Sarkissian laid flowers at the memorial plaque dedicated to the Armenian Jadwiga Zarugiewicz – respected as Mother of Unknown Soldier, and paid tribute to her memory.
